Julius Theodor Lange was the youngest son of Jens Lange andKirsten Tagmus. He married Ane Marie Sorensen at Ansanger,Denmark in 1862. They seem to have moved from place to placebut could not discover what Theodor did for a living. Their twoeldest sons were born in Ansanger sogn. Their third son wasborn in Baekke sogn. Kristine, eldest daughter was born inVorbasse sogn. All the other children were born Kjcerbollingand christened in Bredsten.It appears, from information obtained from an Archives inBredsten, that Theodor moved to a farm in Kjcerbolling, wherehe helped his father-in-law. Their three sons immigrated tothe Chicago, Illinois, United States and worked as finishingcarpenters. Martha (Lange) Phipps feels that Kristine and Lenawere also in Chicago as she remembers her father saying thatthe girls made beds in a hotel there. In about 1885 Theodor andAne Marie followed them first to Illinois and later to file onhomesteads in Callaway, Nebraska.Theodor farmed in Nebraska. He died of a heart attack whilefeeding his pigs in 1907. The Lange family loved to sing, danceand visit with friends.One son and two daughters married Robertson brothers and sister.The information from Denmark was obtained by Andreas Lange ofBorkop, Denmark and Metta Lange of Frederecia, Denmark.
Ane Marie was born in Hojard, Nebel. She lived on a farm atNebel until her father died. She was 13 years old, her mothermoved her family from Nebel possibly to Lindknud.We know that Ane Marie had brothers and sisters but did not findany names.A copy of a picture of the house where Ane Marie lived wasobtained from the Archives in Vorbasse. This picture was takenin 1905 but the house probably had changed little since shelived there. A picture of the house as it looked in 1991 wasalso obtained.Information and pictures from Andreas Lange of Borkop and MethaLange of Frederecia.Ane Marie immigrated to United States with her husband andfamily in 1885, they homesteaded at Callaway Nebraska.Ane Marie never learned to speak English but enjoyed hergrandchildren. She liked to drive a team of fast horses andwould have the grandchildren sit in the bottom of the wagonuntil the team calmed down.Ane Marie died January 8, 1916 at the home of her daughter,Terecia Seyersen, in Milldale, Nebraska. She is buried in RoseHill Cemetery.
[78449 Lois's Family Tree.GED]Hans Monard Julius Lange was born August 13, 1880 inKjaerbolling, Denmark and christened on October 10, 1880 inBredsten. Although we have not found if he died, it is feltthat he had died before the family immigrated to the USA.Martha (Lange) Phipps said that her grandparents Lange had aboy living with them that her father said was to take the placeof the child that his mother had lost. She does not know whathappened to this other boy either.
196. Terecia Sorene Lange
Terecia was born July 29, 1883 in Kjaerbolling, Denmark. Shecame to Nebraska with her parents as a young girl. Sheattended the sod school near Callaway.In 1903 she married Seyer Seyerson and they farmed nearMilldale, they did not have any children.After the death of Seyer, Terecia continued to live in her home.On the day of her death, which was Terecia 78 birthday, she wassitting on the steps visiting with her cousin, Edith fromRacine, Wisconsin. Edith said that Terecia was talking and allat once her head started to slump, so Edith grabbed her and shewas dead. (This is from a letter written to my mother by MarieHendricks shortly after the death) Edith was a RN and wasstill working in a big hospital in Racine, when this happened.When Terecia died she left her estate to be divided among onesister and twenty nieces and nephews. Smaller diamond ring toMarie Hendricks and larger diamond to Eva Best. Rita Philbrick,diamond earrings and a silver riding bit. All the rest of theestate to be sold and the money divided equally amongst the 21relatives.Terecia died July 29, 1961, in Milldale and is buried in RoseHill Cemetery.
Seyer Martin Seyerson, son of Paul and Secial Sorensen was bornat Callaway, Nebraska. He was the second child of a family offour children, and was one of the earlier settlers of Callaway.He was baptized into the Danish Luthern Church and heldmembership in it all his life.On December 27, 1903 he married Terecia Lange and they madetheir home near Milldale, Nebraska.He was active in social and civic affairs . He was a member ofthe School Boardsince 1902. He served for many years as President of theCo-Operative Oil company, and at various times he served on theTownship and Telephone Boards.He passed away at Milldale, Nebraska and is buried in Rose HillCemetery.

She is related somehow, but Otto's document does not indicateher parents. Some of the text is unreadable.
113. Petrine Madsen Lange
Lois's family indicate there were only 2 children in Jacob'sfamily. However, Otto's say that Petrine is a sister to JakobChr. Lange born 1845. I have added her in her until I canverify that it is incorrect.
